This installation uses real-time video of the waves as they break on the shoreline in two different locations on opposite sides of the earth. The two videos of the waves are mapped to the 7800 RGB LEDs in each of the window spaces at the Minnesota Museum of American Art, St Paul. The LED panels on the left are showing real-time conditions at Jobos Beach, Puerto Rico in the northern hemisphere. And the LED panels on the right are showing real-time conditions at Padang Port, Bali 12 time zones away and in the southern hemisphere. The resulting installation projects onto the city streets two low resolution streams of current and changing conditions where the oceans meet the shoreline on opposing sides of the globe.
